I kind of get the feeling that Kanye West gets lazy when he’s producing for other people. The beat doesn’t really do anything but repeat (brooklyn we go hard, jock’n jay-z), but when he’s producing for himself it starts doing all of these magical things (gone).

Regina Spektor
Looks like everyone has panned Regina Spektor’s new album, which is unfortunate. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I imagine there are at least a few good songs on the record. Regardless, it got panned so I’m likely going to ignore the entire thing unless she comes back with her next album and its great, then I’d probably go back and give the other album a listen.

Mihir pointed out to me that Eve of Eve Restaurant in Ann Arbor is going to be on the next Top Chef. I went with Mihir to Eve back in 2007, and I’ve been one other time, that time, with a girl.
I think most people agree that Eve is pretty good with common complaints being that it’s expensive and the service isn’t good. Both times I’ve been, I’ve had good service so no complaints...

I watched Federer-Roddick up to like 12-12 in the 5th set (1am here) and then went to sleep. It’s probably the most boring close sporting event I’ve ever seen. I think up to when I stopped watching, there wasn’t one match point. They were just killing each other when they were on serve. It’s like in the NBA playoffs when each team destroys the other on their home court. Even if the series...
