Best song of 2009 - Knock You Down. I’m pretty sure of this. I’ve listened to the song like 500 times and its just as good each time. There’s nothing new here, but that’s because some of the best things in life are things that people have been continually blown away by for generations.
Snarky opinions are sometimes funny to read, but that’s only because it’s funny to see grown persons in robes act like kids.
I think Ecstasy has become mainstream cool. I’ve heard it casually dropped in 2 or 3 pop songs recently. I may be behind the curve here.
I had actually only known about Cornershop. I had no idea Fatboy Slim did a remix until much later. It’s funny, this clip features a bunch of people that are supposed to embody the common person’s confusion about this obscure foreign reference, but they don’t realize there’s a good contingent of Americans and Brits that just think these people are a bunch of retards.

Some fixed-gear riders think brakes are not strictly necessary, and brakeless fixed riding has an almost cult status in some places, based on the perception by some riders of the experience of riding in a state of intense concentration or ‘flow’ where brakes are thought not to be needed.[25]
Other riders dismiss riding on roads without brakes as an unnecessary affectation, based on image rather than what is practical when riding a bicycle.[26] Furthermore, riding brakeless may jeopardize the chances of a successful insurance claim in the event of an accident and, in some jurisdictions is against the law.
