I sometimes carry a haze of stress that clouds my brain, but it usually stems from one area of uncertainty that I’m just too stupid to realize is what’s bugging me so much.  Once you identify the area of uncertainty, you can at least do as much as you can to address it and then you at least have the comfort of knowing you’ve done everything in your power to deal with it, which goes a long way in removing the stress.  This, however, might be what smalter calls, “loser talk.”  Probably better to get in the habit of ensuring success rather than focusing on removing stress.
