Exporting Identity
Just came across this semi-old article by Fordham Law professor Sonia Katyal. She suggests that in the Western world, unlike some other countries, same-sex conduct is equated with homosexual identity, so we don’t just disapprove of same-sex acts, but rather we hate gay people.
